Socratus is a personal knowledge management system that understands your notes, not just stores them. Ask questions, search by meaning, and see how your ideas connect, with AI that runs privately on your device. Think of it as your second brain, local-first and always under your control.
What I built:
- Led end-to-end architecture of an AI-powered notes app available on Android, iOS, and macOS from a single Flutter codebase (~50k+ lines, 250+ modules).
- Embedded llama.cpp and whisper.cpp on-device through CMake, Android JNI, and Swift/macOS plugins, keeping notes off third-party servers and reducing latency.
- Built semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) using a custom TF-IDF engine and vector indexing in SQLite, exposed through semantic chat and a related-notes graph.
- Implemented subscription monetization with StoreKit 2 and Google Play Billing, and exposed an MCP stdio server for external IDE agents.
